- Abstract
A study done to assess the of androgen changes following varicocelectomy. Study was done in alnuaman teaching hospital Baghdad, from July 2018 to January 2019, varicocelectomy was done via subinguinal approach on 48 patient undergo infertility, 39 of them have normal count of sperm but decrease in activity, 8 patients have decrease in count and activity, only one patient had oligospermia, all of patients was done pre- and postvaricocelectomy after 3 months. By using t-test compare the results between the two groups show significant changes, regarding p value < 0.05 significant. The significant change in androgen level post varicocelectomy.
