- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 66-year-old woman with a metastatic colon cancer and an urticarial rash, which occured eight days after the third IV-infusion of oxaliplatin and 5-fluorouracil. It states that an inflammatory infiltrate of lymphocytes, histiocytes and neutrophilic cells around dermal vessels was found during the histopathological examination of a skin biopsy. It notes that the rash disappeared after the patient was treated with antihistamines.
