- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the role of occupational therapy in addressing childhood obesity. She provides suggestions on how occupational therapy intervention can improve motor adaptation for Australian children who are obese. The author has outlined how the Occupational Performance Model can be used to determine and analyze the scope required for adequate assessment of occupations involving motor adaptation and the necessary occupational therapy intervention.
