- Abstract
The article diagnostically differentiates menstrual paroxysmal hemicrania (PH) from other forms of PH by researchers from Italy. It is stated that paroxysmal PH is a rare primary headache disorder. Its prevalence has been estimated to be 0.021 percent in the general population. Because of their rarity, it is impossible to determine a difference of the prevalence of its different form. However, in this study, the researchers asserted to have found a possible new entity of PH.
