- Abstract
The article discusses a pilot randomized controlled trial of a Chinese herbal medicine preparation Pei Tu Qing Xin (PTQX) for children with moderate-to-severe atopic eczema. During the trial, 21 children used topical corticosteroid creams as concomitant medication. The study found no hepatic or renal function abnormalities in any participant during the treatment period.
