- Abstract
The article presents bone and mineral research into the relationship between bone microarchitecture and bone strength in ovariectomized monkeys treated with teriparatide, a recombinant human parathyroid hormone. Teriparatide regimen improved trabecular microarchitecture of the iliac crest and the cortical microarchitecture of the vertebra.
