- Abstract
The article focuses on the possible legal remedies to deter the practice of ghostwriting in medical publishing. The authors state that medical ghostwriting can be deterred through the imposition of legal liabilities on guest author's who use their names in ghostwritten articles. They add that legal fraud can also be filed against a pharmaceutical company that has used ghostwritten articles.
