- Abstract
Introduction: The consequences caused by political decisions on population issues are worrying level of environmental health and affect, increasingly, individuals, states, societies and their health. Objective: To interpret the consequences of funded projects on population and health. Methodology: Are analyzed descriptive form and with empirical- analytical method12 projects funded by the Rockefeller Foundation between 1952 and 1972 and review of the literature on the application the same. Results: The projects have led to changes on the impact of the age structure of the population and they have increased discrimination health and by sex and between rich and poor. Discussion: A constant disunity among political and demographic developments in public health and environmental improvement is observed. A individual and collective level, countries lack an ethics policy that guarantees the non-use of the human person in their relationship to health and the environment. Conclusion: Short and long term is necessary to think bioethics friendly man's life on earth and improve environmental health. Places lacking reinforcement academic training and awareness on health and bioethics.
