- Abstract
The author cites the uprecedented times in which environmental events including eclipses, rising sea levels and weather patterns that have little impact in health in the modern world but are challenges for the telemedicine and electronic-health care sectors. It states that environment is a physical determinant of health while norms, policies and social inequities are social determinants. It also states that technology like smartphones which create connectivity are also the unprecedented time.
