- Abstract
The article describes the case of temporal caterpillar sign in a 43-day-old female with infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis (IHPS). The patient was presented to the pediatric emergency department due to non-bilious emesis and watery stool. Abdominal radiography showed a distended, air-filled stomach with wave-like countours that resemble the appearance of a caterpillar. Abdominal ultrasonography confirmed the diagnosis of IHPS.
