- Title
Fetal nutritional status: diagnosis and future perspectives.
- Authors
Schild, R. L.
- Abstract
In this article the author discusses fetal nutritional status. He is critical on the use of the individualized growth assessment approach as the most favorable way to distinguish the different growth patterns of every different infant. He argues that monitoring efforts should be concentrated on the group of fetuses and or patients who are at risk. Also investigated are the growing errors in fetal weight estimation and the use of unltrasound-generated estimates of fetal fat.
