- Abstract
The title compound, [(CH3)2CH]2NH2+·[(PhPO3H)2SnPh3]-, has been synthesised and its structure determined by spectroscopies (IR, RMN and Mössbauer) and single crystal X-ray crystallography. The Mössbauer spectroscopy data for the title compound (QS=3.50 mm s-1) are in accordance with the trans O2SnC3 geometry at tin atom. The SnPh3 residue is axially coordinated by two monodentate [PhPO3H]- anions, leading to a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry around the tin atom. The anions [(PhPO3H)2SnPh3]- are linked by pairs of O-H...O interaction, forming an infinite chain. In the crystal, neighbouring chains are linked by hydrogen bonds N-H...O via the cation [(CH3)2CH]2NH2+ forming a three-dimensional network.
