- Abstract
The article discusses a study to evaluate the long-term outcomes of postoperative septicarthritis after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. Participants included 831 patients and were followed up over a 17.9 years period. The findings revealed that patients who develop septic arthritis as a complication of ACL reconstruction surgery displayed diminished long-term subjective, functional, and radiographic outcomes.
