- Abstract
The article reports on a study which compared the efficacy of mucoadhesive buccal tablet (MBT) with miconazole 500-mg oral gel (MOG) in patients with head and neck cancer. The study participants received a 14-day treatment of either single-dose MBT or MOG administered in 4 divided doses. The study found that the success rate in the MBT population was not statistically inferior to the rate observed in the MOG group.
