- Abstract
The article examines that respiratory virus infections including influenza are cause of human mortality and new therapeutics that are needed for limiting infectious pulmonary injury. Topics include reports that host-directed strategy that limits tissue damage from virus-induced inflammation, while also promoting lung regeneration and repair capacity hold promise for preserving airway integrity until a respiratory virus is cleared by the immune system.
