- Abstract
An editorial is presented on black fungal disease being widespread due to recent COVID outbreak. Topics include disease being presented in various clinical forms such as rhinocerebral, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, cutaneous, and disseminated; lung or pulmonary mucormycosis being witnessed in the organ transplant or cancer patients; and spreading in midfacial and orbital region causing lasting damages as palatal defects, maxillectomy, and oral- antral fistula.
