- Abstract
The article discusses research into the use of laptops in education with particular focus on inspired writing. The authors present the results of a study in the Littleton, Colorado Public Schools (LPS) district, which instituted a laptop program that allows students to use social media for writing as well as store their written work in cloud-based software from Google. The authors discuss several themes found in LPS student blogs including themes about tools for better writing, sharing and learning, and interaction with media tools.
