- Abstract
A conference paper on small airway epithelium (SAE) changes due to cigarette smoking is presented. It mentions that in the study DNA was assessed using the microarray based high resolution Hpall tiny fragment enriched by ligation-mediated PCR (HELP) assay and SAE transcriptome was assessed with Affymetirx HG-U133 plus 2.0 arrays, with MAS5 and Ingenuity pathway analysis. It found genome wide changes in gene expression in response to cigarette smoking and lead to smoking induced lung disease.
