- Abstract
The article reports that nurses and physicians both rate highly with the public in trended national survey. The public's admiration for registered nurses (RNs) is well documented in public opinion polls about trusted professions and prestigious occupations. However, it is said that high public regard for nurses has not translated into a supply of individuals who are willing to be nurses.
