- Abstract
The article focuses on the conversation of professional feminists regarding the use of their theories in teaching journalism in the U.S. It highlights the ways in incorporating feminist theories into classroom teaching. One cites on the dominant discourse of feminism wherein it considers tough-talking, risk-taking, and hard-charging journalism. Another considers the way print media writing classes are taught in an attempt to see a more progressive way of teaching. Moreover, it cites on some practical applications of standpoint theory to imply feminist theories in journalism.
