- Abstract
The article discusses the integration of National Institutes of Health's (NIH) clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) program during clinical research and training in University of California (UC) in Davis, California. The authors highlight the establishment of 2 Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC), Participant and Clinical Interactions Resources (PCIR), and Pilot Collaborative studies depicting the engagement of wide faculty of spectrum in General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) to educate faculty and trainees. Furthermore, they state that UC Davis adopted the PCIR program to its GCRC to meet the challenges and opportunities to advance and promote clinical and translational research in an innovative approach.
