- Abstract
The thermodynamic investigation of IPN's polymer components mixing was carried out and comparison of the thermodynamic data with the parameters of structure of created polymer matrix membranes based on these IPNs was done. It is shown that thermodynamic of IPN's polymer components mixing is the main factor affecting the structure and porosity of polymer matrix membranes synthesized based on these IPNs. When the polymer matrix synthesized based on thermodynamically incompatible polymers, it is possible the create polymer matrix membranes with pores of big sizes. In case of creation of polymer matrix membranes based on semi-IPNs with thermodynamically compatible polymers, the pores of different sizes are formed: from nanopores up to the pores with size of micron level.
