- Abstract
The article discusses a research on the effect of variation in chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 3-like 1 (CCL3L1) copy number on HIV-1 susceptibility, disease progression or viral load. It states that linear regression was used to examine the association of CCL3L1 copy number with HIV viral load. It notes that 1,855 subjects were genotyped for the study. Results show that CCL3L1 copy number variation does not affect HIV-1 infection, disease progression or viral load.
