- Abstract
The authors discuss medical device innovation in Rwanda. Topics discussed include the challenges faced in the field of health technology innovation for resource-limited settings (RLS), the need for health innovation in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and two case studies of health technology innovations in the country such as the Wound-Pump simplified negative pressure wound therapy (sNPWT) device and PrePex male circumcision device.
