- Abstract
The article informs that for adults aged ≥18 years who received 2 doses of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, third doses are recommended. However, the associated benefits in preventing COVID-19 hospitalization are incompletely understood. it is noted that administration of a third COVID-19 mRNA vaccine dose as part of a primary series among immunocompromised adults improved protection against COVID-19–associated hospitalization.
