- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 21-year-old woman was brought in to the department of internal medicine of Kuwait University Hospital in Yemen in 2006 for the treatment of pleural effusion. It mentions that the patient was diagnosed with Rothmund-Thomson syndrome (RTS), a rare genetic disorder, based on the examination of her medical history. The patient exhibited a unique combination of features including atypical plantar keratodermas, clinodactyly and pachyonychia.
