- Abstract
Objective: to analyze the coordination of care for tuberculosis patients by the nursing team. Method: this is an epidemiological study, descriptive, and survey, analytical and transversal type. There were 79 nursing professionals interviewed with a pre-structured form, and the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and the T-Student test for independent groups. Results: Nurses classified care coordination as more effective than nursing assistants/technicians, there were statistical differences between categories, especially information systems. Conclusion: Coordination of tuberculosis care is still fragile, and individual efforts of the team and municipal politicians are needed to achieve coordinated tuberculosis care.
