- Abstract
The article discusses the implementation of the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program in Iran to reduce psychological disorders in people after traumatic events. Traumatic events, such as earthquakes and the COVID-19 outbreak, have had a negative impact on the mental health of individuals in Iran. The MHFA program, originally developed in Australia, aims to teach individuals how to identify and assist people experiencing mental health problems. The article suggests translating and localizing the MHFA instructions in Persian and making them available to the public through social media.
