- Abstract
This article compares the types of vascular anastomosis and perinatal outcomes in cases of selective fetus growth restriction (sFGR) with and without Twin-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) in monochorionic-diamniotic twin pregnancies. The study analyzed 48 sFGR cases, with 22 cases having TTTS and 25 cases without TTTS. The incidence of superficial anastomoses was higher in cases without TTTS, and severe neonatal complications were more common in cases without TTTS. However, there was no difference in the incidence of fetal demise and gestational weeks of delivery between the two groups.
