- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the mortality of pemphigus patients and the influence of co-morbidities and antecedent complicationsThe researchers have conducted a retrospective study on the demographic, clinical diagnosis, treatment, and mortality of pemphigus patients in a tertiary care hospital. The findings indicate that the most common death causes in the disease process and therapy-induced complications include septicemia, pneumonia, and peptic ulcer perforation.
