- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of a study designed to determine whether the prospective secondary science teachers being prepared by the University of Georgia possess a philosophy of science which exhibits an understanding of the nature of science as accepted by scientists and science educators. The basic issues addressed in the study include the concept of nature of science by the prospective secondary science teachers and the relationship that exists between the prospective secondary science teacher's concept of the nature of science as measured by the Wisconsin Inventory of Science Processes instrument and certain academic variable.
