- Title
Appearance in Court--Veiled Threats.
- Authors
Kirk, David
- Abstract
The author argues niqab wearing, a cultural belief in Muslims during the Great Britain court proceedings, where the person is acting as a witness or defendant. He debates on the role of face expressions in determining the quality and content of what a human being is saying. He also discuses the philosophical aspects such as to what extent the way the defendant or witness dresses affects decision-making of the court. The veil issue in context of women medical staff is also argued.
