Schmidbauer et al, published in the volume 53 issue of "European Urology." The researchers measured the diagnostic accuracy of CT-guided percutaneous biopsy of renal tumors through a prospective study that comprised 118 patients, wherein CT-guided tumor mass core biopsy was performed in 78, while 44 underwent fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC).
