- Authors
Parker, Benjamin
- Abstract
The author comments on the paper "Efficacy and Safety of Mavrilimumab in Subjects With Rheumatoid Arthritis," by G. R. Burmester and colleagues, published in "Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases." The study examined the effectiveness, safety and tolerability of mavrilimumab, a fully humanized monoclonal antibody against the granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) receptor. It concluded that subcutaneous mavrilimumab at higher doses improved RA signs and symptoms.
