- Abstract
Based on the model of a piecewise homogeneous body, with the use of the three-dimensional linearized theory of elastic stability for small subcritical deformations, the stability of a single fiber surrounded by two shells in an infinite elastic matrix is investigated. During statement of the problem, the homogeneity of the subcritical stress state is substantiated. Expressions are derived for elements of the characteristic determinant.
