The article presents the discussion on exploring traditional cuisines and aromatic herbs and spices being used culturally in promoting a healthy microbiome and wellbeing. Topics include stress and anxiety as well as genetics, gut physiology, and the microbiome contributing factors affecting the gut-brain axis; and studies showing relief for constipation, diarrhea, and other digestive concerns.
