- Abstract
Perception is one of the keys to learning and its effective means because effective learning requires an effective awareness of the stimuli received by the learner and giving them value and meaning as they are easy to retrieve in the future. The topics that have attracted the interest of psychologists because of its direct connection to the lives of people who deal with thousands of stimuli that require understanding, analysis and immediate response. Target current search 1.Measurement of sensory perception in children of Riyadh age (5-6) years. The basic research sample consisted of (295) children and children of Riyadh government in the city of Mosul were chosen by random stratified method, and to achieve the objectives of the research was a test to measure sensory perception, consisting of (16) divided into three areas (visual, audio and tact) The authenticity of the tool was verified by presenting it to a group of experts in educational and psychological sciences. The self-honesty was verified by 0.95. The b The correlation coefficient value (0.92) was eliminated. Data were statistically analyzed using SPSS, which included a set of statistical methods including Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test for one sample, t-test for two independent samples, t-test for correlation coefficient, and titular test. The researcher reached a number of results 1.Riyadh children enjoy a good level of sensory perception in the fields of audio, visual and tactic. In light of the results, the researcher made a number of recommendations: Introducing teachers in training courses to gain experience and information on the importance of mental processes, especially awareness and training them on how to develop them. Utilize the sensory perception test in diagnosis of ordinary and gifted children.
