- Title
Kinski/Herzog y Ullmann/Bergman: el autor y el actor en el cine autobiográfico.
- Abstract
The article examines the auteur theory and the highly complex relationships between actors and film directors. It argues that when creating a film, motion picture directors often become so involved in their artistic process that their vision becomes a personal one. According to auteur theory, a director's film over time becomes autobiographical, reflecting the persona of the director and producer. The article explores the auteur theory by examining the works of film makers Ingmar Bergman and Werner Herzog and their collaborations with their actors.
