This article offers criticism on the poetry of American poet Mary Oliver. The author notes that Oliver uses her poetry to explore her faith and discusses Oliver's belief that all things are part of God and that everything has a soul. The author particularly focuses on the incarnation of God and communion as themes in Oliver's poems found in books such as "Mindful," "Her Grave, Again" and "Blossom."
