- Abstract
Any PSH classification system should holistically describe the abdominal wall, and the European Hernia Society (EHS) recognised this in their 2014 PSH classification [6]. By comparison, size influences all EHS PSH classification subtypes and importantly relates to the abdominal wall trephine size rather than sac size. CIPHER outcomes include CT assessment (including EHS classification and stoma trephine measurements), PROMs (generic QOL and parastomal hernia-specific), and advanced stoma-care interventions.
