- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 5 year-old girl presenting with 3 day-old fever, diarrhea, and colicky abdominal pain. Laboratory tests which includes stool culture and latex aggregation test revealed enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli infection. The article discusses the use of anti-inflammatory drugs to treat post-diarrheal hemolytic-uremic syndrome with nervous system involvement.
