- Abstract
The article informs that International Potato Center (CIP) found an opportunity for repositioning potato as an added-value cash crop, and expanding its use for processing and by encouraging sales of improved and native potatoes to emerging markets and export markets. Topics include relationship with the gastronomy sector to promote Andean food and products; and interaction with market agents and agricultural service providers can transform native potatoes into competitive advantage.
