- Abstract
Este estudo analisa o comportamento ético dos agentes de microcrédito produtivo, modalidade de crédito que oferta quantias menores de dinheiro para o público de baixa renda. Nesta modalidade, o agente de microcrédito exerce importante trabalho ao conceder ou negar crédito em comunidades carentes, podendo estar exposto a situações de tomada de decisão ética, como negar crédito para conhecidos da própria comunidade onde ele vive. Baseando-se nos modelos de Ferrell, Fraedrich e Ferrell (2009) e Kohlberg (1969) o estudo analisa quais os fatores que influenciam o comportamento ético deste público. Os resultados mostram que a importância dada pelo agente ao seu emprego e sua sensibilidade individual a negar crédito podem ter influências sobre seu comportamento ético. Recomenda- se que esses resultados sejam usados na contratação e treinamento destes agentes, o que pode melhorar a tomada de decisão ética sobre o microcrédito.
