- Abstract
The article discusses pathogenesis of tobacco smoke–induced emphysema and lung cancer in mice. It mentions ability of intermittent exposure to cigarette smoke (CS) after Nicotine-derived nitrosamine ketone treatment to enhance both tumorigenesis and emphysema compared with continuous CS exposure for the same total exposure duration.
