- Abstract
The article presents information on a study conducted on the effect of organoaluminium compounds (OACs) on the metathesis degradation of rubber under the influence of a ruthenium metathesis catalyst. In the study, the molecular weight characteristics of the rubber were determined by gel permeation chromatography. The metathesis degradation of rubber SKD-ND was conducted in a 10 percent solution of rubber in the presence of a second-generation Hoveyder-Grubbs catalyst.
