- Abstract
In order to know the operation of a small wind power system working in island mode it is advisable, especially if you want to perform a preliminary analysis before experimental implementation, numerical simulation to be done. The simulated wind structure has a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator - PMSG, a diode rectifier, a DC-DC converter, a battery and DC consumers. The paper presents the results of simulation in Matlab / Simulink of a wind system based on PMSG in order to relieve its operation and for control laws implementation aiming to maximize the wind energy conversion.
