INTERVENÇÕES DE ENFERMAGEM PARA PREVENIR STRESSE PÓSTRAUMÁTICO EM PESSOAS EM CUIDADOS INTENSIVOS: UMA SCOPING REVIEW.

- Abstract
Enquadramento: os cuidados intensivos apresentam um ambiente hostil que se caracteriza pela sua luz artificial, ruído permanente e contexto físico restrito que leva a que as pessoas internadas nestas unidades se encontrem expostas a fatores de risco que podem provocar stresse pós-traumático. Para além destes fatores, a complexidade de cuidados prestados às pessoas em contexto de cuidados intensivos e o ambiente adverso provocam um desgaste emocional na pessoa, aumentando o risco de a pessoa desenvolver stresse pós-traumático. Objetivos: mapear as intervenções de enfermagem que contribuem para prevenir o stresse pós-traumático em pessoas internadas em contexto de cuidados intensivos Metodologia:scoping review segundo a metodologia do Joanne Briggs Institute. A pesquisa foi realizada nas bases de dados PubMed, CINAHL via EBSCO, JBI Database of Systematic Reviews, COCHRANE Database of Systematic Reviews, Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal, Dans Easy e Dart-Europe. Foram considerados estudos publicados e não publicados (literatura cinzenta). Esta revisão integra artigos centrados nas intervenções de enfermagem que contribuem para prevenir o stresse pós-traumático em pessoas internadas em cuidados intensivos em inglês, português e espanhol. São abrangidos estudos com desenhos quantitativos, qualitativos ou mistos, bem como revisões sistemáticas e guidelines. O tema de investigação tem três critérios de elegibilidade, seguindo a mnemónica PPC: participantes - estudos que envolvam pessoas adultas internadas em cuidados intensivos; conceito - estudos que abordem as intervenções de enfermagem que previnem o stresse póstraumático; contexto - estudos desenvolvidos em qualquer configuração contextual. Resultados: foram incluídos 11 artigos na scoping review. Foram identificadas intervenções de enfermagem autónomas, não farmacológicas, farmacológicas e interdependentes, capazes de contribuir para a prevenção do stresse pós-traumático em pessoas internadas em cuidados intensivos. A maioria das intervenções de enfermagem são implementadas diretamente na pessoa internada em cuidados intensivos. Conclusão: identificar as intervenções de enfermagem que previnem stresse pós-traumático nas pessoas internadas em cuidados intensivos permite que os enfermeiros desenvolvam planos de cuidados que incluam essas intervenções no contexto de cuidados intensivos, com vista a melhorar a qualidade dos cuidados de enfermagem prestados.
