The author reflects on the Royal College of Surgeons of England's manifesto, "Surgery in Safe Hands," in Great Britain. He adds that the manifesto aims to enhance standards of surgical care in Great Britain hospitals and suggests areas of policy priority. Moreover, he explores the three issues that the manifesto centers on.
