- Title
Personality and Perceptions of Professional Job Stress.
- Authors
Endres, Fred F.; Wearden, Stanley T.
- Abstract
The article focuses on professional job stress. Job stress is a real, growing problem. And for an industry such as mass communication that already has a reputation as being stressful, it is a problem that needs attention. A better understanding of students' job-related perceptions, needs, and expectations, and their relationship to potential future job stress, may be a start to solving the problem. Although students perceive their fields as offering opportunities in several areas, their needs and expectations differ.
