- Abstract
La méthodologie, les possibilités et les limites du diagnostic échographique antenatal des malformations et anomalies foetales sont passées en revue, en nous référant à la littérature ainsi qu'ànotre matériel de 122 anomalies diagnostiquées dans l'antépartum (tab. I). L'examen du système cérébral ventriculaire est l'élément le plus important du diagnostic de malformations cérébrales. L'hydrocéphalie petit être reconnue de façon précise durant la première moitié de la grossesse (fig. 3). En utilisant une technique correcte toutes les anan-céphalies peuvent être diagnostiquées après la 14ème semaine de grossesse (fig. 1). L'échographie est une méthode de choix pour déceler des défauts spinaux, des déformités d'un tube neural clos, des tumeurs intra- thoracales ou intraabdominales, des atrésies digestives foetales (figs. 4-8), des agénésies rénales, des tumeurs rénales, des atrésies urethrales (figs. 9-12) ainsi que des malformations des membres et du tronc (figs. 13-15). La production urinaire foetale et la respiration foetale peuvent donner des indications sur le bien-être foetal actuel (fig. 16). Le diagnostic précoce est le premier facteur dans le diagnostic antenatal des anomalies foetales. Quatre-vingt-dix pour cent de ces enfants malformés sont de première apparition dans la famille. Cela souligne l'importance du dépistage de routine de chaque femme enceinte. Alors que cela est lié à une grande perte de temps avec les appareils à ultrasons conventionnels, les appareils à temps réel ont un bel avenir puisque pas chers, portables, à manier de façon rapide, sûre et facile, même par un examinateur inexpérimenté.
